On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Ronettes called "The Ronettes" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Colpix label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE RONETTES ALL TIME RAREST UK LP (BY FAR!) - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! THIS COPY IS IN GREAT CONDITION.THE COVER HAS NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE BACK COVER IS DIRTY AND HAS WRITING ON IT. I WOULD CLASS THE COVER AS VG + THE LETTERS 68 AND ''FRANK WATSON 1ST AUGUST 1966'' AND A STAMP MARK THAT SAYS 1 AUG 1966 JUST ABOVE THE PXL 486 JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THE VINYL IS CLEAN AND BRIGHT BUT COULD DO WITH A GOOD CLEAN THERE ARE A A FEW OBVIOUS SURFACE SCRATHES ON SIDE 1 BUT THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE PLAY .SIDE B HAS VERY FINE SCRATCHES AND AGAIN PLAYES SUPERBLY I WOULD GIVE THE VINYL ALSO A GRADE OF VG+ THE INNER SLEEVE IS ORIGINAL AND ALSO HAS WRITING ON IT (SEE PIC) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'GOLD' COLPIX LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE (THIS IS THE 100% CORRECT INNER - WITH 'COLPIX' CREDITED IN THE MIDDLE!), AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Colpix UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is PXL 486 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Gold' Colpix label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE TO AQUIRE A CLASSIC LP IN VG+ CONDITION THANKS We aim to be as accurate as possible Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide: "MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
