Some Girls 2011 version
VERY rare Purple Vinyl
I bought this through the official store,the plan was to release a limited run (500 only) of yellow/blue/green and pink colours.Due to a colour pressing error customers that bought the pink version were notified that a small amount of purple was sent instead of the pink,the vinyl could be sent back for a pink one.
The fact only 500 pink were supposed to be made and only a few purple were made before it was noticed and a recall put in place makes this VERY RARE

This is a copy of the email customers who ordered the pink recieved :
Dear Rolling Stones customer, We are writing in regards to your recent order for the Rolling Stones "Some Girls" limited edition pink 12” vinyl. Unfortunately there has been a slight issue in manufacturing which means the vinyl that you will receive is purple, rather than pink. May we offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience? We are in the process of pressing a new batch of the pink vinyl’s and would be happy to replace your rare purple one with the correct pink one if you would prefer. Please just return your purple vinyl to the following address with your dispatch notice and a note explaining you would prefer the pink copy, and we will send this straight out to you. The vinyl is mint,new un-played condition (note there are some darker small sections this is due to the mis-press)
