Condition Report
Vinyl (Audio Quality): Very Good Plus (VG+). Professionally play-tested on a high-quality setup. The audio is strong, crisp, and dynamic. Crucially, it plays clean from start to finish with no noise, loud clicks, ticks, or distracting pops. It is a fantastic, highly enjoyable play copy-SEE COLLECTORS NOTE below.
Outer Cover: Very Good Plus (VG+) [As shown in photo]. The jacket is structurally strong, clean, and rigid. It shows only minor, honest edge wear and faint storage creasing typical of a 45+ year-old sleeve. Visuals are sharp and colors are bold.
Inner Sleeve: Excellent (EX). The original inner sleeve is exceptionally well-preserved. It is crisp, free of major tears, and has no heavy seam splits
PLEASE NOTE / IMPORTANT COLLECTOR’S NOTE: This copy is an original 1978 pressing and features the well-documented factory manufacturing flaw inherent to this specific release. Due to an infamous combination of "hot mastering" (high volume levels) and an overly shallow groove cut at the factory, the stylus is prone to skipping or getting stuck on the final inner tracks of both sides: "No, Your Product" (Side A, Track 6) and "International Robots" (Side B, Track 7). The high-energy audio frequencies and heavy bass on these tracks physically caused the shallow groove walls to collapse into each other during production. A standard turntable or budget setup will experience an endless repeat loop or jumping here. However, it can sometimes be mitigated or bypassed entirely on high-end turntables equipped with a premium micro-line or Shibata stylus and precisely calibrated tracking/anti-skate adjustments. Sold as-is as a historical artifact of punk vinyl history!
