Description

The Saints, I'm Stranded

UK EMI Harvest Records stereo LP, SHSP 4065. 1977 first pressing with A1/B1 matrix suffixes.

Vinyl visually close to near mint. Bright and glossy with no obvious spindle activity and no visible scuffs or scratches. There is just a tiny hint of greyish patina to the beginning of both sides which is as issued and completely non-sounding.

Playback is incredible throughout and easily grades near mint. There is no background noise at all and the dead wax/separator bands/run-ins and outs are completely silent. A final upgrade as far as audio is concerned.

Labels are clean and undefaced.

Original paper inner sleeve has the expected light disc outline creasing and peripheral tanning but is otherwise EX, no splits. Has the date code 7/77 (July 1977).

External sleeve near EX. Structurally sound with crisp unworn edges, spine and entry side. Just a little ringwear impression with a fraction of whitening around the disc outline at top and bottom, but this mainly to rear and unobtrusive. One or two minor hairline indentations, but no surface loss, sticker residue, inscriptions etc.

All in all a very nice copy of the original UK press of this seminal no-nonsense Aussie punk LP.
