ULTRA-RARE AUSTRALIAN RECORD ALBUM IN G TO VG- CONDITION
On eBay auction here is a really rare LP Record from 1964, by the Sydney Group The Saints (not to be confused with the Brisbane 1970s-90s group The Saints). The Saints were: Peter Cole, Brian Myers, Noel Quinlan, and George Thornton. The band formed in 1962 and became Warren Williams' backing band in 1963. They recorded just this one LP, and eight singles, from 1964 to 1966.
This LP consists of both Instrumental and Vocal Tracks, with a distinct winter ambience and fabulous performances. All except one (Moonlight in Vermont) are Australian Compositions. I am selling this one as I have found another copy.
Don't miss out on this Australian rarity!
Condition:
This album comes exactly as you can see in the photos above, so please take the time to look at the photos carefully. They form part of the description of the Condition. Also see the photos for the Track Listing.
COVER: The cover is in fairly Good condition for its age (G to VG-) , with repairs done to it over the years - see photos. There is a "Not For Sale Sample Copy" Stamp above the Track Listing, and neat "Aust Comp" and "Vocal" annotations in biro next to the Track Titles.
LABELS: Both of the labels are in nice, Very Good Plus to Near Excellent (VG+ to EX-) condition. Side 1 has a "Not For Sale Sample Record" Stamp - see photos.
VINYL: The vinyl is in Good to Very Good Minus condition (G to VG-). There are a number of marks, which are heard as soft crackle / clicks, mainly in the quiet parts between tracks. This LP is eminently playable. It plays excellently on both sides with no skips or repeats, and it sounds just terrific!
