Description
Flower pop and folk from (I think) Eugene, Oregon. They are not related to either of the more famous Sands Of Time bands who were popular in the US East coast or Canada’s Maritimes. This band has a nice echoed feel about it with haunting female vocals by Nancy Thrasher reminiscent of "Art Of Lovin". Only one album was privately pressed and incorporates everything necessary for that folk psych sound. Plenty of echoed vocals, harmonies, a few special effects and a pedal steel guitar for a rural flavor here and there. Steve Mendenhall who plays most of the instruments wrote about half the songs along with great song versions of Bob Dylan, John Denver and Bill and Taffy Danoff. I highly recommend the album to anybody who can find a copy and here it is. Not mentioned in any of many publications and virtually unknown. Good luck.
Black and White Cover has some minor wear and slight discoloration. The record plays with ticks in the quieter moments, but most copies I've seen described play with noise due to vinyl quality. This is a major rarity.
