This album was owned by a radio station, KCSN, run by California State University, Northridge. When the station went from an LP format to a CD format, one of the DJs obtained a vast number of the LP. My son encountered this DJ trying to sell the LPs at a yard sale. He tired of the task and had agreed to sell all that was left at the end of the day to a gentleman who never returned to claim and pay for the LPs. My son purchased the balance for the same price without knowing what he was buying. He has decided to try and sell what he has in this manner. I am not sure that I will listen to ALL the records but will attempt to give as good a description as possible about the album.

SIDE 2: IF IT’S THE LAST THING I DO (The story of a man obsessed - who thought Travis Bickle was a good guy); LEAD FOOT (One man and his truck); WHEN FATE DEALS ITS MORTAL BLOW (When all conquers you); ATOM BOMB BABY (Hot love is better than a cold war); SET IT ON FIRE (A song of the search for a catalyst to make weird love happen); YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (nothing weird about loving this song - or its original songstress, for that matter).

I could not find this record listed on EBay, so it must be a rare album. sleeve is in very good condition and is still covered with the plastic film. The record shows some signs of wear but has no skips or scratches. Recorded at West3 Recording Studios, London on Feb. 26, 27, 28, 1986. Manufactured & Distributed by Big Time Records (America). The sleeve states, “Here the Scientists dig through their own vault and blew the dust off twelve sparkling gems from their extensive repertoire. Never before available on one album ‘Weird Love’ represents a unique collection of re-recordings which span the group’s career from 1982 to the end of ’85”
