Noted by some as the San Francisco Bay area's version of the Velvet Underground. The combo was the form and expression of the San Francisco poet David Meltzer. "Discovered" by the manager of Country Joe and The Fish, the group recorded "THE SERPENT POWER" album. Known mostly in the San Francisco area, a limited pressing was made by Vanguard. Rolling Stone Magazine has classified the LP as one of "The 40 Essential Albums of 1967".
Condition: Vinyl and labels are beautiful Mint-. Outer sleeve has good gloss, some light ringwear in front, near top and bottom. The upper left hand corner is slightly nicked and there is a nick on the top edge of the sleeve just right of the center. Over all the sleeve is VG+. See photos. Factory dust sleeve included.

Vinyl Disc Grading : Mint, Mint-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-
Grading Scale:
Mint: Perfect record, clean gloss, no marks, beautiful in every way. Very few records will make Mint.
Mint-: Very clean only a few light marks. A great record.
Excellent (VG++): Condition between VG+ and M-.
Very Good+ (VG+): Used, but not abused. Very light scratches, scuffing or wear, should play and look very nice with minimal or no surface noise.
Very Good (VG): Still a nice record. Looks a bit used, light scratches, scuffs or wear. Still plays well, some surface noise.
Very Good- (VG-): A bit rough but will play ok. Will fill the collection.
Good (G): Plays very rough. Has multiple scratches, scuffs & marks.
