A phenomenal album for 1967. A more detailed review to follow at a later date but this suggests that The Serpent Power were a bit ahead of the curve and a bit out in front of some bands that I truly love.

Great, great album. It's all high quality stuff and though I was born a year after it's release, this album SOUNDS like what I imagine that magical year in San Francisco to sound like. As does the Airplane's "Pillow" LP, the Dead's self titled effort, etc, but this one, dare I say, is a more consistent listen from front to back than those two very well loved bands' efforts from the same year.
