Description
THE SEX PISTOLS - SPUNK
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1977 RELEASE IN ITS ORIGINAL SLEEVE AND ORIGINAL LABEL! NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE COUNTLESS REISSUES !!!
Fantastic quality bootleg album of Dave Goodman produced tracks, infinately superior to the Bollocks album due to the slightly rawer feel and of course founder member and writer Glen Matlocks Bass playing which is in a different league to the useless Sid Vicious and the filling in of Steve Jones on the Bollocks versions! (This also predated the official release by several months)

hi, thanks for the reply, when did you first see this cover? I got it a few months before never mind was out and never saw your cover. I bought it from one of the shops under (next to ) the westway ladbrook grove and all the copies that were there had the white cover with different spray jobs or rubber stamps. I`m not trying to be a dick, just want what i had, also looking for a first press emi single, gonna have to pay more than the 45p i paid in woolworths for that one :) Back to the lp, have you play tested it?
cheers
jim
Hi, sorry wish i could tell you when i first saw the cover but i have no idea, its a bloody long time ago and a lot of water has passed under the bridge! But as far as i was aware there was only ever one pressing of the album until it was reissued in recent years?
Just played it tonight and there are no issues with the vinyl at all, does not skip or jump at all. I cant call it mint but it is close, with just the odd paper mark on it, nothing of any significance. Actually i'd forgotten how good this album is and so different to bollocks!
Cheers David.
