THE SHADOWS
"BABY MY HEART"


10" ACETATE (one sided emidisc)

Crayoned text on the centre of the disc states "CLIFF RICHARD"
but it is of course THE SHADOWS.

The session at Abbey Road 2 studio on the 28th January 1961  was, in the main, for Cliff's recordings, but  obviously had The Shadows on hand.   This vocal track (penned by Sonny Curtis who joined The Crickets after Buddy's death in February 1959) was the only Shadows recording at this session but was logged on the studio work sheet as Cliff (as he was the main benficiary of the session).
Hank's guitar clearly audible and he takes the lead vocal line with Bruce and Jet harmonising, plus of course Tony Meehan on drums/percussion.    This is the same cut as on the original "The Shadows" LP

Demo is 78 rpm

Condition of this one sided acetate shows wear but audio quality is still very good.
Comes in  original pink sleeve as shown
