Description

THE SHADOWS
10" ACETATE
"SOME ARE LONELY"

This was the first Shadows recording to feature Brian Bennett on
drums/percussion after replacing Tony Meehan.
This 10" Emidisc acetate has 'XLV (45 rpm) THE SHADOWS SOME ARE LONELY"
faintly crayoned on the centre (difficult to see in the picture).   We judge this to be the
slightly faster version recorded in December 1961 at Abbey Road 2 studios.
The use of woodblocks is quite prominent throughout - a triangle can
also just about be heard plus Brian's positive drum patterns.

Condition is fair but audio repro' is very good.
Hank, Bruce and Jet are of course in attendance/
