Description
This is a very rare GARAGE single by the U.S. / MA. group THE SHAMES from the mid 60's.
The single was comped on these compilations: BACK FROM THE GRAVE, and THE CHOSEN FEW, this is 60's GARAGE PUNK at it's best, and is rated in the top 200 rarest Garage single according to the experts (G45), THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING.
This is the rarer first pressing, with the ORANGE LABELS, and the one they forgot to put the band's name on, the later YELLOW LABEL pressing included the band's name.
The single came out on the RFT MUSIC PRODUCTIONS label, catalogue number is RFT 1001, and RFT 1002, the matric number is stamped on the dead groove 45 201236, and 45 201237.
The songs are: MY WORLD IS UPSIDE DOWN / THE SPECIAL ONES.
The condition of the VINYL is VG / VG+ (minor paper scuffs, and slight storage warp, not effecting play, PLAYS VG++ or better), THE LABELS ARE in EX+ condition, NO writing or marks.
