Dating from 1965, "Keep A Hold Of What You've Got" is an absolute crunching Garage-styled workout (with great impassioned vocals and ballsy guitar) that most people just don't know about as it's such a hard 45 to track down. The flip-side is also a brilliant tune and opinions differ as to which is the strongest of two STRONG sides!!!! This was the only UK 45 released by The Shots, who later evolved into psych outfit "The Smoke".

As you'll see from the photo, this is guaranteed to be the ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1st pressing with 4-prong pushout centre, so you can forget about having to settle for one of those dodgy so-called "limited re-pressings" (many of which are actually bootlegs) that are flooding the market.
A TRULY great performance, any fan of The Shots, The Smoke, the British Garage sound, the Modbeat/R&B scene or 60s music in general will simply have to have this item in their collection!!!!
Grade (labels): The classic black labels with silver print are in PERFECT condition; there is no wear or blemishes of any kind!!!!
Grade (vinyl): Superb! It's actually an UNPLAYED copy that appears 'As New'!!!! Unbeatable!!!!
Grade (company bag): In a word....lovely!!
Why buy?: This is such a BRILLIANT 45 that simply doesn't often come up for auction, as it sold very poorly back in 1965. It's hard to find a genuine copy in ANY condition, so don't miss this copy as it might be your only chance to buy an ORIGINAL 1965 Columbia UK 1st pressing of "Keep A Hold Of What You've Got" by The Shots in MINT UNPLAYED condition!!!
