This is A RARE AND IN DEMAND FINLAND PUNK / DIY PUNK single by the band THE SILVER from 1979, ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This is an original 1979 pressing !!!.
This was ranked number 9 in the best DIY PUNK single in Johan's Kugelberg list of top 100 DIY PUNK singles, and this is what he said about it:
"9. The Silver -Do You Wanna Dance (Black Label Finland 1980) The Silver -No More Grease (Black Label Finland 1979) A riddle wrapped inside an enigma etc. The band appears to be around 12 ? 13 years old. They hail from Finland where the trail grew cold a long long time ago. Maybe upon the release of the record. Pussy Galore without post-modern baggage. "Love Theme from the Snails" as performed by SPK. 12 year olds virtually destroying a recording studio captured on tape, not once but four times."
This single is very rare and appears on many PUNK / DIY PUNK collectors wants lists.
The single came out on the private BLACK LABEL SERIES RECORDS, catalogue number BLS 7901.
The songs are: NO MORE GREASE / BOB THE IDIOT.
The single comes with the ORIGINAL P/S and the condition of the VINYL is in EX / VG+++ condition (PLAYED ONCE, but minor sleeve scuffs !!!) !!! ORIGINAL P/S is in VG+ condition (small sticker tear and bends).
