This is a genuine, original example of the Sisters of Mercy second single from 1981 and it is in superb condition, with vinyl which has rarely been played.
The run outs are etched 'BILBO TAPE ONE', 'FOR SPIGGY' and 'RISE AND REVERBERATE'.
Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks superb and has retained its original high sheen. It has clearly been well cared-for and rarely played. Under a bright light just a handful of fine, wispy hairlines/sleeve removal marks were visible, but there is nothing significant anywhere. I have played both sides and it sounds fantastic with nothing to report. I would have no hesitation to play-grade both sides as Near Mint (NM).
Labels: No damage, writing, stickers etc and minimal or no spindle marking, suggesting that the record was hardly ever played.
Sleeve: A well-above-average example, this has no splits or tears, just some minor wear to the edges and corners, but there's nothing bad anywhere.
