SISTERS OF MERCY -MERCIFUL RELEASE BOX

Information:

This is a bit of an unusual item. I have never seen another copy of this anywhere. I have not seen it come up for auction on ebay before and even when I was collecting in the eighties dealers and collectors had never seen one. There are no inserts or any information to suggest it's origins.

I was told by the person who gave this to me that it was made to mark the Sisters of Mercy's signing to WEA and the release of Body and Soul

The box contains the following original 12" releases.

Alice
The Reptile House (no Lyric sheet)
Temple of Love
Body & Soul

Condition:

Vinyl – All records mint and unplayed
Box – VG. The box has a seam split to the top right hand corner and has some shelf wear.

I have just noticed that the bottom right corner also has a seem split. I have been asked for a further description of the box and can only add that it is hinged on the left hand side so the two halves of the box do not come apart. There is price sticker damage to the top right hand corner and that is about it. The contents all have picture sleeves and they are identical to normal issues. I hope this helps.
