Offered: "The Skyliners". This exceedingly scarce self-titled album is a true first pressing on the yellow, blue and white Calico label, CLP-3000. This classic LP by the Pittsburgh based harmony group ranks high among the all time great Doo-Wop recordings. The great lead singer of the group, Jimmy Beaumont was just 18 years old when The Skyliners issued this album in 1959.

Track listing: Side 1---Pennies From Heaven--When I Fall In Love (Janet Vogel, lead vocal)--Tired Of Me--Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart--Since I Don't Have You--I'll Be Seeing You.

Side 2---This I Swear--One-Night One-Night--If I Loved You--Tomorrow--I Can Dream Can't I (Janet Vogel, lead vocal)--Warm.

Record Plays: VG+ / VG++, with just a brief period of surface sound at the beginning of track 2--Side 1. There are some light pops at the very beginning of track 6--Side 2. All in all, the sound quality on this record is clear and vibrant.
