Description

For Sale is an original 1st top copy UK pressing of the Slits’ seminal album “cut” with printed inner in glossy laminated sleeve. A stunning copy of this highly collectible post-punk masterpiece. The record labels are the rarer and more desirable ‘silhouette’ type with the band members’ silhouettes on. Detailed grading as follows

SLEEVE

The laminated glossy sleeve is in EX+ to NM- condition with only a couple of tiny edge creases and two or so small bubbles of laminate lift. NO marks, ringwear, splits, rubbing, or any other worrying issues. Very minor corner wear, with a fully legible spine. A stunning example with only very slight wear throughout.

Both sides of the record grade EX+ to NM. They have NO scratches or worrying marks at all, with only a few very slight wispy hairlines visible under a strong light source, probably caused by the inner itself. The labels grade EX+ with only some very, very faint spindling viewable when scrutinised under strong light (I even missed this on my first run over with powerful lights!). Hard to detect under normal lighting conditions, and under normal lighting conditions the record appears NM throughout. There is no warping and I would imagine this has only been carefully played a couple of times, if that.


PRINTED INNER


The iconic printed inner is in NM condition with no splits, tears etc. and practically as new.
