For sale here is the extremely rare 1967 UK MONO FIRST PRESSING release on the IMMEDIATE label of the band's second studio album "SMALL FACES". This is an original 1967 UK pressing.
- It has the early matrix numbers.
- It is pressed on the thick vinyl.
- The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with NICE SHARP EDGES with clear spine text.
WHAT MAKES THIS LP SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE EARLY 1ST MONO PRESSING. IT CARRIES THE 1L & 2L MATRIX NUMBERS. WHAT IS MORE IS THAT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - IT CLEARLY HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL! In terms of condition it is one of the most stunning Sixties records that I have ever had in my possession. Quite amazing. The stamped matrix numbers are as follows: Side One: IMLP 008-1L Side Two: 1MLP 008-2L THIS IS A FABULOUS EXAMPLE OF AN ORIGINAL EARLY UK PRESSING OF THIS CLASSIC ALBUM. - Quite stunning for a record that is 48 years old.
- There are some very light surface marks but you will be hard pressed to find a better copy.
- A real thing of beauty.
- They are free of writing & there is no print loss.
- The Side 1 label has the KT tax stampers near the spindle hole.
- The labels do have some spindle marks.
- There is some creasing but it is still in great condition.
- The sleeve states "Made in Great Britain" & "Patent Applied for".
- It looks nice & flat.
- It has been stored very well.
- There are no rips & no writing on it.
- The front cover is unlaminated.
- The opening edge is nice and sharp & straight with only the slightest dents in it.
- There is the slightest hint of an impression where the record has sat in the sleeve but you really have to look to see it on the front cover.
- The unlaminated back of the cover is in great condition. It is nice & white with very little sign of grubbiness or aging.
- The cover is graded as EXCELLENT+
- Very minor edge & corner wear in places.
- Very slight loss of print on the top & bottom edges (see photos).
It will be properly packaged. All standard vinyl items are removed from their outer sleeves before transit to protect the outer sleeve edges.
