THE SMITHS - BEST... 1
Vinyl LP from 1992, mine from new
Outer sleeve shows creases and corner scuffs but there are no rips or tears. I have taken close up photos so please make sure you zoom in closely to have a good look at the sleeve on both sides. On the back something has 'scored' the sleeve but it's not gone through. It's about halfway on the back sleeve so again take a look at the pictures as they are high resolution. Inner is generic white paper sleeve with poly inner, and in recent years it has been stored in a poly sleeve.
From my own collection and test played before listing. The vinyl shows light hairlines on both sides, and there is some background noise between songs although I would say this is only slight, after all the record has been played and enjoyed over the years. There are a few low pops (or clicks) during Girlfriend in a Coma if you listen closely, and there is a louder pop in the gap between Panic and Please Please Please. It does not jump or skip, it is still a fantastic album to listen to and has lots of play left in it yet.
I think the vinyl grading on The Vinyl Factory of 'Very Good' is fair for this copy: Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED.
