Description

The product is a very rare Japanese 12" vinyl record of The Smiths' song "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side". Released in 1985 on the Rough Trade label, this first pressing features the iconic indie band's distinctive style.  The record is in good condition and comes with its original cardboard sleeve (unfortunately one corner of the sleeve was clipped which is probably why I was able to get it at such a bargain back in 1986, check the photos for details), making it a valuable addition to any collector's music library. There is no insert. This is the best single ever released by The Smiths and has the additional charm of three additional tracks (Oscillate Wildly, Asleep and Rubber Ring). This vinyl captures the essence of the band and 1980s indie music and is a must-have for fans of The Smiths and Britpop in general.
