This record is in very good+ condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. There is minimal wear around the centre holes and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing deep or serious showing but there is signs of use in the form of some sleeve scuffs and the odd light line or minor scratch. These are visible in normal light but are not deep or really serious. There are more incredibly light wispy lines and signs of use visible under very bright light but again nothing sinister. So overall a used vintage record that is free from anything really serious but has signs of use and some light surface lines.
I play tested the record and it plays well overall and is still an enjoyable listen. It lays flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent for the vast majority, with side 2 playing really well with no interference or issues to report at all. Side 1 also plays well and has no skips, sticks or really loud issues or interference but I did not some light ticks in certain parts. These occur for around 20-30 seconds in the opening stages of track 1 and also very faintly in track 3. These are not loud ticks caused by deep marks but just very light faint ones just about audible during play. Overall I still enjoyed every track and even though these ticks can be heard faintly they do not destroy the tracks and I think a grade of VG+ is fair for the audio as a whole.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition. The edges and corners as a whole have only light wear but there is clear and obvious damage or wear on the top half of the spine. This area is not a fully blown split and the sleeve as a whole is still very strong. The spine is not ideal however with the text written along it now not legible. Other than the problem with the spine there is also some scuffing inside the gatefold near to the bottom edges. This is also clearly noticeable and must have occurred when the sleeve has got stuck together at some point. Other than these two issues the sleeve has no tears or pen marks and no serious issues with creasing or ring marks. Overall a strong sleeve but one that has the damage to the spine and the scuffs inside the gatefold as mentioned. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains its original lyric inner which is in excellent condition. It has no splits, tears or pen marks and only light creasing and mild ring marks.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
