Captured at the height of their live powers, 'Rank' is one of the greatest live albums of all time. Recorded whilst touring their masterpiece 'The Queen Is Dead,' 'Rank' is a beautiful document, with a great inner gatefold image and complete with a stunning POSTER!!

Rough Trade sold a fair few copies of these at the time and while it isn't particularly hard to track down a nice original copy it is becoming nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a copy with the original POSTER! The LP is a gatefold, with the famous image of fans tearing up a piece of Moz's shirt in the centre, and a lovely greyscale hard inner sleeve. This is a wonderfully preserved copy, both vinyl and packaging...You'll struggle to find a better copy!

CONDITION OF VINYL: EXCELLENT. I feel that record grading is THE most important element to selling records on Ebay. I aim to be as honest as possible, in order to avoid complications. This LP is graded as EX. Both sides are GLEAMING under a light bulb, with only the lightest paper scuff on Side 1. This is VERY LIGHT and I'm sure most Ebayers wouldn't even mention it. I've tested this on my Project turntable and it DOES NOT sound. These scuffs are commonly caused by removing the discs from their paper inners and are very common. The run-in grooves are smooth and undisturbed, and there are NO spindlemarks on the labels. Most sellers would automatically grade this as NEAR MINT! This disc is pretty close to perfect, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

CONDITION OF SLEEVE/INNER/POSTER: EXCELLENT. The sleeve and its packaging is in STUNNING condition. There is no scuffing on any of the edges, wit the front, inner gatefold and rear sleeve being near perfect. The spine is as new, solid and sturdy. There is a small nick on the bottom left hand corner which is only noticeable under close inspection. The 'includes poster' sticker on the top right corner is perfect. The inner sleeve is also EXCELLENT as it is solid with no marks or scuffing! The POSTER is in lovely shape as it has never been hung: just stored in the LP sleeve. It has been folded in half the whole time and is absoultely blemish free. This is your chance to grab this Smith rarity as it was sold in the shops!

I am an avid collector of many, many genres and keep my records in IMMACULATE condition. I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide 'Ready Reckoner' and almost NEVER sell anything which is below EXCELLENT condition. Rest assured that my EXCELLENT is bloody EXCELLENT! Oh yeah and I NEVER GRADE ANYTHING MINT THAT IS NOT SEALED!! Near Mint is the highest grading I use for unsealed records.

All records will be sent within two days MAXIMUM of receipt of payment (usually within 4/5 hours of payment received). Your record will be expertly packed in a professional brown mailer, using one or two stiffeners and housed in a PVC 12" sleeve with the record in a paper inner placed outside the sleeve as is standard practice. I've always been lucky when buying records from ebay (save the odd occasion) and would like all buyers of my records to be 100% SATISFIED!
