Description
This is a very rare, limited edition, colored vinyl 12" German Import of the great song by The Smiths- "William, It Was Really Nothing" (2:11). It is backed with two other great, classic songs by The Smiths: "How Soon Is Now?" (6:44) and "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want" (1:51). It was released in 1984 by Rough Trade Records, and in Germany by Intercord Records INT 125.219. I purchased this 12" Maxi Single in brand new condition in 1986. I played it only one time and then filed it away for safe keeping. I visually grade this vinyl record as "near mint +" condition. It is very nice. The splatter vinyl is shiny and pristine. I also grade the outer cover as "near mint" condition. I do not see any noticeable flaws. The opened shrink wrap still covers it nicely. There are two white stickers (indicating "Import" and "Colored Vinyl" on the outer shrink wrap). The purple circle is not a sticker, it is imprinted on the actual cover. In German it states: "Platte in mehrfarbigem Vinyl". My date of purchase (8-11-1986) is lightly written in pencil on the inside of the cover, it is very easily erasable. This will be an awesome addition to your collection of The Smiths, Morrissey, and Johnny Marr. I will combine shipping charges for multiple purchases. Enjoy !
