THE SMITHS Rank  1988 Rough Trade  ROUGH 126
The Smiths only live album was recorded in 1986 and released after the band split as a contractual obligation. It's also a really brilliant record. The addition of Craig Gannon on second guitar elevated the band and made it possible for them to recreate their increasingly intricate studio arrangements on stage. With Craig covering the jangly arpeggios Johnny Marr could explore more complex guitar parts, effects, and improvisations.
My copy is in super tip top excellent condition. The gatefold sleeve is really clean and shiny. The inner is cleaner than Charles Hawtrey's best vest.  The vinyl - which is heavier then 90% of my collection - is beautiful. So shiny and unmolested.
Just listening now. The segue from His Latest Flame into Russians Ruffians is still awesome.
