Description

Up for auction is a rare copy of the The Smiths album "Stangeways, Here We Come" originally released in the U.S. on Sire Records (1-25649) in 1987.
-Guaranteed First Pressing, not reissue -1-1/1-1 first pressing etched in run-out matrix
-Rare promotional copy, gold stamp front top
-Original insert/inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-NOT remastered reissue
-From my personal collection

Condition: The cover is in very nice condition with only very minor signs of wear.  Front and back are clean.  Back has just a hint of rub at top middle.  Seams are strong, intact, no splits.  Corners are sharp, not bumped.  Very nice!  Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-).
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, still looks shiny and new.  No scratches or scuffs, just some very light faint signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a couple times.  Labels are clean.  Looks like it's been played maybe once.  This copy has been in my personal collection for 30 years, archived and un-played.  Hard to upgrade.  Grade: Near Mint (NM).
