Description

Available here is a three track 12" vinyl single by The Smiths - Sheila Take A Bow / Is It Really So Strange? & Sweet and Tender Hooligan. It was issued in the UK by Rough Trade in 1987 and bears the catalogue number RTT 196.

Vinyl Condition - Mint - The vinyl is mint and there are no marks or scratches and I suspect that it was unplayed prior to my inspection. There is however, a flaw in that the A-side has two identical inner labels affixed - one properly positioned, the other somewhat off-centre and partially loose, although it does not extend across the playing grooves (see my images). Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that the sound is bright and clear and there is no jumping, sticking or clicks and there is no background crackle present.

Sleeve Condition - Excellent - Original picture sleeve with minor wear to the edges in one or two places. Inner die-cut sleeve is mint, with lyrics and advertising featured. Larger pictures of both sides of the disc and sleeve are available on request.

This is just one of two collectible Smiths records that I have at auction. Win more than one and there should be some sort of saving on the combined postage/mailing.
