The Smiths - Stop Me If You Think You've Heard 7'' - Holland Megadisc MD5280
- From my own Smiths/Morrissey 300 records personal collection.
- From my own personal collection, NEVER PLAYED when in my position but before listing the record side B has been played once to test influence of a scratch on it; kept in a special metal box for records and thus its fantastic condition.
- Sleeve is in near mint condition.
- Vinyl: Side A is in near mint condition; side B has a scratch on it which doesn't affect the play, at least not on my turntable.
- The labels are mint.
- The 'Stop Me...' single was released in various sleeve colors; this auction is for the rare silver/gray Holland only variant which is very hard to find, not only because of the relatively low quantities it was pressed but also because it is highly sought-after by collectors and a copy such as this one is extremely desirable because of its immaculate condition.
- Consequently, it seems set to become ever more rare and accumulate in value as interest in original Morrissey and Smiths pressings continues to grow at a rapid rate.
