This record is in very good condition. It has spindle marks visible on each label but there are no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. The centres show mild wear but are not worn or loose. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape with no major issues but the spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep or really serious but there is quite a lot of light faint surface lines and sleeve marks showing when angled into normal light. There is also a few other light marks and some areas of light groove wear in places. Overall the vinyl is used and is not visually pristine but also still has a nice lustre and is free of anything deep or serious.
I play tested the record and it played well and was still very enjoyable throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is of a solid excellent grade throughout each side with no skips, sticks or clicks and only the odd minor amount of light surface noise in places. I noted some light surface noise in the intro to side 1 and both run ins/outs but overall the audio is better than the VG visual grade.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some rubbing and wear to the edges(mostly top and bottom edges with spine remaining pretty clear other than bottom corner) and corners but there are no splits or weak areas anywhere. The text along the spine is all still legible and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is a faint sticker removal mark on the front in the top right corner however and also some light 'scuffing' or minor scratching to the rear(near top and bottom edges). Inside the gatefold is clean, bright and has little to report and overall the sleeve is still tidy enough. There is mild ring marks to the rear and the odd minor crease but nothing extreme and overall it is still tidy enough in my opinion. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original picture inner which is in excellent- condition. This looks great with no heavy creasing, serious ring marks or tears but there is two 2" splits developing on the bottom and left edges. These are not completely fully blown but are weak and fragile areas.I will of course send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure the original suffers no further wear or that these splits get no worse.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
