THE SMITHS - The Queen is Dead
RARE Green Vinyl LP on Tonpress Records released under licence from Rough Trade.
I haven’t played this very often as with it being coloured vinyl it has been a collection filler, but I’ve test played it today and there’s no major issues - couple of pops here and there, crackles during quiet points - nothing that detracts from enjoying listening to the album though. The green vinyl is quite unusual and rare and it looks great.
The label has been applied off centre but this doesn’t affect play. Side A has pressed in a different order to what’s on the label - it doesn’t matter though, all the songs are still there just in a different order!
The sleeve isn’t a gatefold like the original Rough Trade release is, just a single sleeve. It’s in fairly good condition, there’s sticker residue top right though, please zoom in on the pics and have a good look.
