THE SNIVELING SHITS - I CAN'T COME - IMPORT PICTURE DISC ALBUM.
Original import and very rare picture disc pressing of the sniveling shits album I can't come.
Taking initial inspiration from the wonderful Wayne County and the Electric Chairs music journalist Giovanni Dadomo formed the shits.
Journalist Dadomo wrote for publications such as ZigZag, Sounds, The Face and New Music News.
He famously appeared on the British TV programme Nationwide in late 1976 as part of an episode centred on punk rock, where he stupidly stated, "The danger of the Sex Pistols is that they can be boring"....! he was shot down by the quick wit and retort of McLaren and looked as dated as the suit he was wearing.
In 1977 he accepted punk was indeed not a fad and recorded the classic record "Terminal Stupid"/"I Can't Come", backed by guitarist and fellow journalist Dave Fudger and various other musicians including members of proto punk pub-rock band Eddie and the Hot Rods.
The record was engineered by Steve Lillywhite, who also played bass guitar for the band, when Lillywhite's career as a record producer began to take off bass duties went to Barry Myers (proto punk reggae disc jockey DJ Scratchy who had toured with The Clash ).
This rare picture disc version of their classic moments is an essential punk purchase and a great addition to any quality punk rock record collection.
