Original first American press of legendary first album by English trio The Soft Machine featuring Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers (on inside cover misspelled as Kevin Ayres) and Mike Radledge.
The thick and heavy gatefold sleeve, complete with gimmick moving wheel, is after nearly 45 years, still in excellent condition. There is some minor general wear, but this is one of the best copies I've seen for a long, long time. This is not a cut-out, there are no writings, no stickers, no damage at all.
Vinyl is glossy and in outstanding condition. Except for some backround noise on track 2 of side two (Lullaby Letter) the record plays absolutely problem-free (VG+/NM).
The black Probe label with colour spectrum logo on side 1 has some wear.
A perfect and, especially in this fine condition, very rare copy.
