Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

WILDLY RARE original George Piros mastered gatefold first pressing of The Soft's groundbreaking debut LP from 1968 on ABC's Probe subsidiary with no pressing plant info, original UNCENSORED cover with round die-cut front gatefold, original die-cut rotating "clockwork" card insert through which the band members and a nude woman can be seen on a full color glossy printed backing sheet, uncensored image of a nude woman on the inside gatefold and uncensored image of a nude woman on the rear cover!!!  Second pressings had the woman's bottom half covered with a bikini(!).  LP is a nice VG with some very light scuffs.  Cover is VG- with a small 3" piece of thin transparent tape at the opening on the top of the rear gatefold and the front gatefold open on the right hand side where the wheel spins.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
