THE SONGS LENNON AND MCCARTNEY GAVE AWAY - 1979 British import LP. I bought this record new and have probably played it twice over the years. I began collecting records in 1964 when the Beatles arrived and have carefully kept all of my records over the years in a smoke-free home. It's now time to begin parting with some. The record is in near mint condition. So is the record sleeve. I did what I often did with my records - I slit the plastic along the opening so that it would stay intact on the record sleeve. Then I put Scotch tape on the plastic along the edge and wrapped to the inside of the cover. NO TAPE TOUCHES THE OUTSIDE OF THE RECORD JACKET. That is how I have preserved many of my records, even some of those very first ones from 1964. There is one extra piece of tape at the top and bottom right side because that's usually where tears would begin in the plastic wrap. So the sticker you see in the photo is on the plastic wrap, not the album cover. The inner sleeve is also original to the LP. Please ask any questions before purchasing. See my 100% seller rating.
