Description
This is a classic pre-Punk LP by The Sonics, titled "BOOM”. This is a first pressing on Etiquette Records from 1966. This is the mono version in black Vinyl, catalog number ET-ALB-027.
The record grading is VG+ There are only a few minor surface scuffs on each side side, but records sounds awesome. There are or audio defects other than a small amount of static in some of the quieter songs (I just play tested it on a high-end Linn LP12 table). They glorious mono shines through without any major distractions. Really, It sounds fantastic.
I rate the jacket at VG+. There are no water stains or smells of mildew, mold or smoke. There is feint ring wear that is hard to see. Each of the four corners show shelf wear, but the integrity of the jacket is great. This cover looks great overall.
There is a plane paper sleeve inside the jacket, but the vinyl has been stored in a MoFi archival sleeve for more than 10 years.
This album comes from my personal collection of rare rock, punk and indie records purchased around the world since 1985.
