RARE 1963 ORIGINAL PRESSING ON PARK AVE. RECORDS LABEL IN SWEET KEEPER CONDITION!  THE COVER IS A NICE EX!  DISC IS A BEAUTIFUL NICE WITH JUST SOME SURFACE MARKS.  IN 1963, WHEN JOHNNY WAS ONLY 16 YEARS OLD, HE RECORDED SOUL SURFER UNDER THE PARK AVENUE RECORD LABEL.  THE ALBUM HELD POPULAR SURF TRACKS LIKE "SUNSET" AND "SURF RAIDER".  
SAX PLAYER JIM O'KEEFE AND 10 YEAR OLD DRUMMER JOEY SUDETTA BOTH LENT THEIR TALENTS TO THE ALBUM.  SOUL SURFER RECEIVED GOOD REVIEWS AND EARNED JOHNNY A INVITATION FROM JOHNNY BURNETTE TO TOUR ENGLAND.  UNFORTUNATELY, BECAUSE OF HIS YOUNG AGE, HE WAS NOT ABLE TO GO.
