Description

Just the record everyone needs! The Spits very first, self-released 7"!

I obtained this record directly from the band in about 1999/2000 (at a NYE gig in Portland that was held at a strip club. Someone crashed a car into the building that night!). Some other sleeves exist, but this is the original one as far as I know.

Songs are: Tired & Lonely, Black Kar, SK8, and Saturday Nite.

I have played the record several times over the years, always on a decent table with a decent needle. There are a couple of very small needle scratches, but nothing that impedes the sound quality...no skipping. Record label is blank on one side, and someone (presumably in the band) wrote 'The Spits' on the other side in green marker. The sleeve has some typical wear on the top edge, a bit of a 'ring' is visible on the back, but no tears or blemishes. Could do with a new plastic sleeve, if one is so inclined...
