Description

This is a vinyl PROMO / DEMO from 1968 and NOT an acetate as the label suggests.The vinyl is in FAIR to GOOD CONDITION.   The titles are BLACK VEILS OF MELANCHOLY and TO BE FREE.  The matrix numbers are machine stamped and read as follows: 7N 17497 A-1 and 7N 17497 B-1 There are lots of marks on the vinyl but both sides play through with no sticking or jumping.  The EMIDISC label is stuck over the original white label. Obtained by myself from John Schroeder in 1987. I have several items like this one. They are all PYE white labels and as well as the STATUS QUO titles I have titles by SANDIE SHAW, THE FOUNDATIONS, THE KINKS, THE SEARCHERS to name but a few. Nice items and rediculously rare.
