Description
Classic Ragtime Gold!
Up for sale is a vintage copy of the Academy Award-winning soundtrack for The Sting, featuring the iconic ragtime compositions of Scott Joplin as adapted by Marvin Hamlisch. This is the album that brought "The Entertainer" back to the top of the charts in the 1970s.
Key Features of this Copy:
Includes Original Insert: Comes with the rare "You had to be there" photo collage fold-out insert in great condition. Many copies on the market are missing this!
Pinckneyville Pressing: Identified by the "P" stamp in the dead wax, indicating a high-quality pressing from the MCA Pinckneyville, IL plant.
Label: Classic MCA Black/Rainbow label.
Condition Notes:
Vinyl: VG (Very Good) – Shows some light surface marks and paper scuffs consistent with age. Should play through well with occasional light surface noise common for 70s pressings.
