Original 1974 lp on Fonit - Cetra (ILS 9032) The Stone Killer.Music by Roy Budd. Here is the ultra rare original first pressing Italian soundtrack lp from the film ‘The Stone Killer’.An incredible lp that was only ever issued in Italy and Japan.Amazing music throughout and extremely rare,a genuine holy grail amongst soundtrack collectors and beatheads alike.This must surely be Roy Budd’s finest soundtrack.Superb tracks throughout,the music here is a real treat to listen to.Menacing tunes with killer beats and basslines,awesome electric keys and organ,horns,lush string arrangements,analogue synth effects.Also beautiful downtempo jazz with some lovely piano playing.So many razor sharp beats and several killer breaks.Awesome music and something for everyone here.Amazing sample potential with those mad headnodding drums and basslines and too many loops and stabs to mention,perfect material for the hiphop producers.Incredible stuff that just sounds way ahead of it’s time.Tracks are Main Title,Under Surveilance,The Plot,On The Trail,The Graveyard,In The Shadows,Too Late,The Old Precinct,Down Downtown,On The Move,Down Uptown,From Vietnam To New York,The Chase,Assassination,Final Capture.This is a rare opportunity to get hold of this masterpiece of film music.This lp is in beautiful condition.The vinyl is appears and sounds perfect.No marks or scuffs to be seen even under strong light.Still glossy and the labels are perfect too.I suspect that this lp has only ever been played a few times at most and it really is in incredible condition.The jacket is also in superb condition.No wear at all,laminate is perfect,all spines are perfect and complete,corners are sharp,flipback seams on rear are perfect,very clean.Just one very slight crease near bottom left corner.Record near mint.Sleeve near mint.
