Description
1989 first UK issue of The Stone Roses self titled vinyl album. With embossed gold lettering on the sleeve and picture inner sleeve and with matrices:
ORE LP 502 A2
ORE LP 502 B2
The vinyl is in VG condition with hairlines from previous play but no scratches or anything feelable. The labels are excellent. Both sides played with no jumps or clicks. At the last second of the intro track side 2 there are 2 noticeable hisses before track 2 begins. This does not interfere with the music.There is audible crackle at quiet moments especially during the track ‘shoot you down’. Nonetheless, listening quality is overall very good.
The outer sleeve is also VG+ condition due to having no major problems. There is a little damage to the top part of the spine as shown in our photos. The edges and corners have visible scuffing and light creases from use and there are ringmarks from storage. Overall though, a nicely preserved sleeve without too many problems.
The inner sleeve is excellent.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
