According to Holzman, the campaign is being designed to 'bring the group on strong in the essential areas of airplay, publicity, wholesale and retail outlets and live appearances. Coordinating Elektra efforts will be STEVE HARRIS, director of special projects for the company, who will oversee the campaign in conjunction with Elektra sales manager Mel Posner, art director William S. Harvey, publicity director Dennis Murphy and fan liaison specialist Josephine Mori. Harris will also work closely with Danny Fields, national representative of the group, who introduced the Stooges to the label last winter. The production effect achieved by uniting sleigh bells with an acoustic guitar gives this debut single from the Stooges a sensational listener impact.
