Description

The Stooges self-titled debut 1969 LP Elektra Records EKS-74051 stereo white label radio station copy.

I acquired this record in 1969 while working in a record store and it is from my personal collection.  It is not a reissue.  It has never been played. 

The record is in "NM" condition and the vinyl still has vibrant rainbow highlights; it is in the original black Elektra paper sleeve as issued (see photos).

The jacket is in "EX" condition but has the "Promotional Copy" sticker affixed to the front which has been partially removed; there are no seam splits but there is some minor ringwear (see photos).

I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
