Description
A beautiful copy of The Strangler's best album (in my honest opinion). This is a 1978 original pressing, UAK 30222. Matrix A - 1 U / B - 3 U Peck.
The matt sleeve is in very good condition. Minimal creasing, slight but acceptable wear to the sleeve opening. The rear of the sleeve has a very slight scratch to the top left. The spine is intact and undamaged. The inner sleeve/lyric sheet is in mint condition bar a slight tear to top opening. The inner label is mint, minimal spindle marking.
The freebie 7 inch "Walk on By/Mean To Me/Tits started out on white vinyl but is now a "lilac". this is apparently a common occurrence with this coloured vinyl. Plays perfectly. Also includes the original Stranglers "Free 9" card with freebie details.
The vinyl has been play checked as usual and I can tell you that it was an absolute delight. Absolutely no hiss, or background noise. It played like new. Visually fresh and clean with minimal sleeve abrasions.
This is from my own collection, unplayed for many years until I play checked it.
You'll be hard pressed to find a better sounding copy.
