I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NICE COLLECTION OF UNIQUE PROMOS / TEST PRESSING AND ACETATE. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM A PERSON WHO USED TO WORK IN A MAJOR RADIO STATION FROM THE LATE 1960'S TO THE EARLY 1990'S. THERE ARE UNIQUE TEST PRESSING ACETATE ETC.. OF ROCK / PUNK / SOUL / PROG ETC... SO PLEASE KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE TO GET THESE UNIQUE TEST PRESSINGS AND ACETATES.
This is a RARE UK ORIGINAL A LABEL DEMO / PROMO 7" SINGLE BY THE STRANGLERS entitled "NICE 'N' SLEAZY" from 1978, ORIGINAL UK PROMO ISSUE IN AMAZING CONDITON AND A MUST !!! This copy is a RARE A LABEL DEMO COPY and was only sent as a promo to radio stations and reviewers !!! The sleeve has a release date stamoped on the back 21 APR 1978 and the promoters contact details, the A side label has the release date stamoed twice on it !!!
This collection came from a major UK radio person who worked in a major UK radio station from the late 60's to the late 90's all the copies were ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUES or PROMO COPIES !!! This PROMO 7" was pressed in 1978 on UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS, catalogue number UP 36379. The tracks are: NICE 'N' SLEAZY / SHUT UP.
This PROMO 7" also comes with the ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE and the condition of the VINYL is MINT- (UNPLAYED, A side label has the rekease date stamped on it twice), ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE is in EX++ condition (has the release date + promoters contact details stamped on the back).
DON'T LET THIS RARE ORIGINAL UK PROMO / DEMO STRANGLERS 7" get away as you will NEVER see another one.
