Fantastic and rare album from one of the most creative and menacing punk band's of all time.
The Stranglers just didn't care, in true punk style they crashed from late 70's punk rock into the 80's new romantic scene and beyond, never compromising and ever changing while retaining their loyal and devoted fan base.
They upset the moral majority with their Duchess video, graced top of the pops more times than I care to remember and just kept on going.
This compilation album draws together tracks from various singles, and some obscure album tracks that when collected together capture the electric energy of the original band it features some unique, eclectic and different but essential recordings performed by that classic lineup, it certainly makes for a more interesting listen than the usual hits fare.
The sleeve itself is in excellent condition for its age with hardly any storage wear, just the usual minor age related wear you would expect.
The vinyl looks in great condition with just a couple of very light surface hairlines at most, Item acquired within a large private punk collection I bought recently, lots more to list in the coming months so keep checking my listings.
A great copy of a must have Stranglers collectors item for any serious Stranglers / Punk rock collector.
