Fantastic and very rare Japanese pressing of The Raven album from one of the most creative and menacing punk band's of all time.
The Stranglers just didn't care, in true punk style they crashed from late 70's punk rock into the 80's new romantic scene and beyond, never compromising and ever changing while retaining their loyal and devoted fan base.
They upset the moral majority with their Duchess video, graced top of the pops more times than I care to remember and just kept on going.
This Nordic influenced fourth album caught critics and fans off guard, it was a new and unexpected change of direction for the band, building on the success of Rattus, Heroes and Black and White it captured the eclectic energy of the band and stands out as one of their finest ever albums.
This intire package is the best I've ever seen it truly is in exceptional condition for its age.
The vinyl looks in virtually unplayed condition , the fold out insert, lyric inner bag and obi are all also in excellent overall condition.
This is a true high end item for collectors who want the best possible copy for their stranglers music library and is an essential Stranglers item for any Stranglers or serious Punk rock record collector.
