Description
Exclusive 120 gram blue and gold pressing in gatefold presentation from Newbury Comics and was limited to only 1000 pieces with foil stamp numbering. This copy is #0352. You can see the number on the back of the cover, lower left corner.
Different artwork used on this US release as the UK "glove" image was considered a little too risqué for the US market.
Track B4 - When It Started
Track listing on back cover lists New York City Cops as track B4, however this was replaced on all US versions with When It Started. The Strokes chose to change the track listing out of respect to the New York City Police Department and their heroic actions during 9/11, which occurred just over a month before the release of the album in the States.
From my private, smoke-free collection. This LP was issued by Newbury Comics, a Boston-based record store. Pressed on blue/gold translucent vinyl and limited to 1,000 pieces. Record was cut at Nashville Record Productions and pressed at United Record Pressing. Very rare LP.
