The style council - can you still love me.

Very rare acetate of the style council - can you still love me. Originally released on the modernism a new decade album back in 1989. The album was shelved. This was then remade and included as a b side on the promised land single.

This is an original town house acetate that was given to a well known dj at the time...as he also had some direct input of some of the songs on the original album.

I had an alternative version that I sold a few years ago now. This has just been found among some other acetates from circa 1989.

A true one off. This seems to have been eq’d differently as is stated on the front of the acetate.

The town house label has very little info on the track except for t.s.c written on it as well as R&B time and m.a crew..

The plain sleeve has the word placid in some form of acid house bubble writing. This probably as the original owner was at the heart of London’s early Rare groove and acid house scene. A great song and a rare Paul weller artifact.

The acetate is in vg plus shape. Plays great. One sided only.
